About Karamia Yoga
Karamia Yoga, LLC welcomes all kiddos and families. Every class creates a safe space for students to feel seen, heard, and loved. The lessons provide students the opportunity to share what is on their mind, and will allow students to express their authentic self in a playful and pure way. We become a little yoga family by the end of each class and program.
Meet the Owner
Ms. Kara is the owner of the business and a Kindergarten teacher at The South Tampa Micro School. One of her passions is helping kids better understand their brain, body and emotions through breathing exercises, self-reflection, movement, crafts, games, and more!
Kara grew up in Chicago, IL and moved to Tampa, FL after graduating from The University of Tampa. She co-founded her first company called Youthful Yoga, LLC in 2016. Karamia Yoga, LLC was born in 2022 to allow her to enjoy both of her callings to teach in a traditional classroom and in yoga classes.
Karamia is Kara’s nickname with her family. Her Papa started it when she was born. The meaning is “my love or my heart.”
